Target Scholarship Scientific project will be conducted at the University of Natural Resources and Science, Vienna (Boku). ACIB invites candidates to apply for a PhD position at the lab of Prof. Mattanovich (Department of Biotechnology). This work consists of a multi-omics studies strains of Pichia pastoris to produce recombinant proteins that differ in culture medium.
Target Scholarship Master's degree (or equivalent) in the field of biotechnology, biochemical engineering, biochemistry, or related field is required. A strong background in microbial physiology and genetics as desired. practical skills in molecular biology and fermentation techniques would be an advantage, as well as knowledge of the principles of complex data analysis and
metabolic modeling. Target Scholarship Candidates must have excellent skills in English language skills oral and written, and interpersonal
conductive to team work and efforts of research groups.
